The British boxer will face the American YouTuber in an eight round contest which will be broadcast in real-time on Netflix.
British boxer Anthony Joshua said he will "stamp all over" the American and "break" the American as the two fighters met personally to promote the upcoming heavyweight fight.
Ex twice unified heavyweight champion Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a huge mismatch - at Miami Kaseya Center on 19 December.
Fighter's Attitude
"I plan to damage his features and break his body up. I'm here to prove my superiority," Joshua, 35, said.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I intend to really want to hurt him. That's my goal."
Respectful Interaction
Despite those words, a relaxed Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - normally known for his showmanship - were respectful and remained civil with each other.
Paul rather criticized ex Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and described him as "not serious" after the Cameroonian turned down a match opportunity.
Targeting Fury
Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, targeted UK opponent Tyson Fury - and declined a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a Paul win.
"Jake Paul is superior to Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer commented.
"I acknowledge that."
Legitimate Fighter
Despite declaring he will damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua chose not to comment unfavorably about his opponent's fighting skills.
"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he stated.
Paul's History
Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has mostly boxed MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since entering professional boxing.
He lost to British fighter Fury in last year.
Financial Success
Nevertheless, the inexperienced fighter is still one of the sport's biggest commercial attractions, consistently making massive paydays.
Forecast and Belief
The 28 year old predicted a KO victory in rounds four or five and asserted he would prevent the highly-expected Joshua–Fury fight, which is allegedly being planned for two years from now.
"It's going to be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul stated.
Physical Disparity
As Joshua and Paul met for the traditional stare-down, with their size difference clearly visible, it drove home just how improbable this complete situation is - and how astonishing it is that the bout is really proceeding.
